About LYCA

Affecting positive change in the world around us one action at a time. 

We are the League of Young Conservationists and Activists or LYCA for short. Founded by myself, Tricia, and my daughters Kat and Savannah, and my son Elijah. As my own kids have approached and in some cases reached voting age I realized that the issues that really matter aren’t being well taught or presented and young voters often have poor turn out because they feel unimportant, unheard, or it’s no big deal. Together we hope to show that it all matters and the work and dedication of a few can help bring about positive changes in the world.
